We have made it safe and sound to beautiful Santa Rosa California. The land of wine and the elderly. The drive was a little longer then expected... we made our way through LA and up the coast following highway 1 which twists and turns its way up the coast. Great drive during the day, roller coaster of death at night. Thank god the snitch is such an awesome van! It started to poor buckets just outside of San Fran but we were able to make our way through and finish in santa rosa 21 hours after leaving tucson.

We are the luckiest boys in the world. I know I've said this before but thanks to Molly and Bret, our new adopted parents for the next 3 weeks, we don't have to worry about accommodation. Bret owns the trek store here in santa rosa and is letting us crash in the spare room for the next little bit.

Our week has been full of riding and great food. Santa Rosa has got to be one of the top 10 places to ride in the world... every road is paved and there are no cars on them. Ridiculous. I will be Calgary bound in 2 weeks to drop by and say hi, then off to vic for the start of racing season. Lovin' life to the max
