Last night marked the very first race of the season. Although i was nearing the end of 4 weeks of hard training i was super pumped to get back into some competitive atmosphere. About 30 people showed up at the university of arizona pro 1/2 crit including some u.s national team members and a few pros. Being so excited, i attacked on the first corner and was able to open a nice little gap. Solo suicide mission i guess. Not bad because i was able to collect a prime. I got gobbled up about ten laps later where colter attacked and collected a rocking 100 big ones on a prime lap. Hung in till the end and sprinted for seventh, good enough to collect a few bucks. God i love bikes....

Also, on our cool down, colter managed to sneeze and ram his bike into the curb leading him to fall nicely on the soft grass and break his shifter. Good thing he won the hundred bucks because now he'll be able to replace his broken bike.

Califoria tuesday, life is great!
