winter riding at its best

Recipe for a great winter: jump into your rents golden 2003 honda odyssey (with sto and go seating and automatic doors), stuff it with bike beats and boys, point the car south and voila!

Thirty hours later with cramped legs and bleeding ears, the van rolls into our place of residence for the next 4 weeks in Tuscon Arizona. With a short stop in Vegas on the way down, the snitch (nick name for our awesome van) ran problem free for 2600 km. For the first time in my life, i will not be reading a book for the sole purpose of taking notes or worrying about assignements and deadlines. For the next 7 months, it's all about bikes and good times. Little heads up on my life plan... one month in Tuscon, two months in Santa Rosa California followed by the summer months on vancouver island racing for Trek/Red Truck. Have as much fun as possible is my main goal for the year. Thought maybe i'd fire up a blog to keep everyone updated.

ps: it was 23 degrees on our ride yesterday, not bad for january 29th eh?
pps. fresh beats are essential for winter riding, check this song/ music video out. hot stuff here

catch you on the flip side
